Featuring premium audiophile design at an affordable price, the Marantz PM5005 stereo integrated amplifier features all-analog circuitry from input to output, and delivers wide frequency response, high dynamic range along with true low impedance drive capability and is rated to handle both 8 ohms and 4 ohms speakers. Featuring current feedback power amplifier circuitry (a Marantz innovation), the power amplifier section also features pure discrete analog circuitry along with multiple high current discrete power output devices that are easily able to handle lower impedance loads and deliver high instantaneous peak current capability. Rated at 40 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 55 watts per channel into 4 ohms, the PM5005 features A and B speaker outputs, for two sets of stereo speakers, or for bi-wiring with compatible stereo speakers. The deluxe remote control provides discrete source input buttons, and includes additional buttons for direct control of the matching Marantz CD5005 player and Marantz Network Audio Players.
